Daily trip
Embark on a one-day trip by speedboat designed for scuba divers. We’ll explore fascinating underwater spots within the National Park. Our journey begins in the morning, with the boat prepared at the Tourist Harbor. Once everything is ready, we’ll set off. Throughout the day, we’ll engage in exciting activities, returning to the harbor in the evening before sunset.

What is the best time of year to dive in Komodo National Park?
Any time can be the best time; we just need to adapt to the location based on the prevailing weather conditions.
Do I need to be an experienced diver to dive in Komodo?
The park has dive sites for all levels, but strong currents make it better suited for intermediate and advanced divers. Beginners may prefer calmer sites like Sebayur or Siaba Besar.
How do I get to Komodo National Park?
- Fly to Labuan Bajo (LBJ), the gateway town, from Bali or Jakarta.

Do I need to book in advance?

What do I need to bring
Please note that we are in a remote area, so preparation is essential.
Here’s a checklist of important items and considerations for your trip:
- Mandatory Requirements
Dive Certification Card: Required for all divers. - Dive Insurance:Mandatory for all divers. Annual dive insurance can be purchased before arrival. We recommend Dive Master Insurance for diver safety, costing approximately $5 USD per day.
- Travel Documents
Passport Photo & Copy of Your Passport: Needed for your travel permit, which we’ll arrange for you. - Passport Validity: Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
- Visa on Arrival: Most nationalities are granted a free 30-day Visa on Arrival. Check with the Indonesian Embassy in your country to confirm.
- Empty Passport Page: Ensure there is at least one blank page for the Visa on Arrival sticker.
- Outbound Flight Ticket: Rarely requested but possible, so it’s good to have a copy of your ticket showing departure from Indonesia within 30 days.
Essentials to Pack
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra batteries, a towel, and tampons (these are not readily available locally).
Health and Medication
Bring a personal medicine kit, including:
- Pain relievers (e.g., ibuprofen).
- Antihistamines, cortisone, and fever/cold medications.
- Diarrhea treatment.
- Antibiotic ointment and band-aids for skin irritations to prevent infections.
By packing these essentials, you’ll be well-prepared for a safe and enjoyable trip!
What should I not bring?
Please plan thoughtfully to reduce waste during your trip. Opt for rechargeable batteries whenever possible and avoid items like disposable razors, excessive plastic bags, and plastic water bottles. We operate in a pristine environment and are committed to preserving it for future generations.

- Fishing or spearfishing equipment is prohibited, as all forms of fishing are strictly forbidden.
